Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau, a French Supermodel, is said to be the next big thing on the fashion circuit. She has an impressive modelling CV and has been modelling since she was 4 years old. Not so impressive?
The thing is Thylane, now only 10, is seen on the Vogue Cover sprawled on leopard print bed spread in a blingy gold dress with high heels caressing animals and posing a $3 million necklace.
We see kids in movies and commercials; but to see a 10 year old young lady, erm no 10 year old kid actually, posing seductively is sort of disturbing.
I'm sure her parents must be proud for her attaining so much success at such a tender age, but to pretend like nothing is wrong with the way things are going is shocking!
The child is posing in such an outrageous dress, chrissake! she has no cleavage to bare, doesn't that say something?
Thylane is the daughter of former French international football player Patrick Blondeau (right), and Véronika Loubry (left), an actress and television presenter
Mum, Ms Loubry, suggests that such criticism of her daughter's photo-shoots are uncalled for. Speaking with French website jeanmarcmorandini.com, she said, [translated from French]
"These photos are from December! It's quite surprising they resurfaced after 7 months ... Specifically, the only thing that shocks me about this photo is the necklace she wears, which is 3 million!"
Ms Loubry claims that she ensures her daughter has a typical life for a girl her age.(*cough*)
Such sexualisation of a child who hasn't even reached puberty is creepy and disgusting. I mean what are her parents thinking, I'm no child psychiatrist, but can tell such a lifestyle has harmful repercussions on the kid.
When I checked out her Facebook fan page someone had commented saying "She's too young" (which I'm sure is right in the way it was meant), But some moron commented back saying "it is beautiful, it is ART". Seriously what is wrong with you people! Everything which is disapproved is not Art.
