Just another post.

Everyone has had this one person who they really connected well with and suddenly its like you never knew them at all. Lot of my readers here might assume its a link they have seen or liked on facebook but its a true fact.

There was a point in your life where not talking to that person would make things seem odd around you.
The words Indispensable and Dependable were synonymous to how you would feel about them and exchanging 50 odd texts a day would be a habitual routine.
Mind you, this person need not be your lover nevertheless you loved them dearly.

Well now all that seems to be lost and all that remains is a phone that refuses to ring with their name on it.
You long for some news, any indication that would suggest everything is OK. Deep inside you know its not.
I don't want to get dramatic here but the truth is people change and sometimes with them circumstances. The odds are that circumstances changed the way you would look at the whole situation now. Feeling of neglect and betrayal just piles on with it.
Its alright to admit you miss them.

You may have opened the Pandora's box but remember hope comes with it.

Endurable Infidelity ?

So I happened to pick up a book on Greek stories that gloated about their gods, monsters and heroes and I was sort of surprised when I realized that their God of Gods, Zeus, happened to be quite a womaniser and he would chase the women he desired until they sighed and gave up.

Before his marriage to Hera (Queen of Gods, also Goddess of marriage), Zeus consorted with a number of the female Titanes (and his sister Demeter). These liaisons are ordered by Hesiod as follows: (1) Metis (2) Themis (3) Eurynome (4) Demeter (5) Mnemosyne (6) Leto.

He fathered a number of offspring. And he tried his best to hide his affairs from his wife, Hera, who he loved dearly but nevertheless could not resist the temptation of another woman.

I'm sure by now the guys reading this post have begun to idolize him but seriously, infidelity is not cool.

Well I think I am drifting away from the main theme here. What I really fail to understand is how Goddess Hera put up with such nonsense. Is it really that easy to forgive an unfaithful lover who has no sense of loyalty or dignity towards the partner he himself chose to be with?

It is a different thing all together that the women Zeus had an affair with had to face her wrath since she was an all mighty supreme goddess.
Doesn't help the mortals, does it now?

It really makes me think can someone cite reasons of love and attachment to look over the fact that the lover is least bothered to remain true?

And what would I do if I ever was put in that spot?
What would you do?

Can the emotion of intense love ever take over the misery of immense pain?

Nothing good about a goodbye.

Yes you should consider yourself fortunate enough to have someone worthwhile enough to say goodbye to. Is this what I think? No. Its a stupid line I ripped off the internet. I consider myself to be unlucky that I've had so many who I have been forced to say goodbye to. The parting always hurts. Goodbyes are one of  the most annoying words I have come across till date. Unfortunately I have always been at the giving end of a goodbye, not a nice thing, and some of the closest people haven't given me that chance, they just left.

ANYWAY the point is the person who leaves usually has the cramps of a goodbye only initially, the one who is left behind faces the back and indignantly holds on to the memoirs of the one who is leaving. Its all new dynamics for the one leaving their old city, country and people to come to terms with the novelty of new life, while only stagnancy daunts the one who is left waving.

I'm not only referring to airports here, you know. Its the same when a lover jilts, a friend leaves or someone you have known dearly dies. A goodbye can leave you hollow when you know they aren't coming back.

Goodbyes hurt when you know your friend like the back of your hand; You have lived and laughed together. Shared infinite secrets.

Damn I hate goodbyes, 'cause I know for a while distance won't let me follow you.

The 10 Year Old Supermodel

Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau, a French Supermodel, is said to be the next big thing on the fashion circuit. She has an impressive modelling CV and has been modelling since she was 4 years old. Not so impressive?

The thing is Thylane, now only 10, is seen on the Vogue Cover sprawled on leopard print bed spread in a blingy gold dress with high heels caressing animals and posing a $3 million necklace.

We see kids in movies and commercials; but to see a 10 year old young lady, erm no 10 year old kid actually, posing seductively is sort of disturbing.

I'm sure her parents must be proud for her attaining so much success at such a tender age, but to pretend like nothing is wrong with the way things are going is shocking!

The child is posing in such an outrageous dress, chrissake! she has no cleavage to bare, doesn't that say something?

Thylane is the daughter of former French international football player Patrick Blondeau (right), and Véronika Loubry (left), an actress and television presenter
Mum, Ms Loubry, suggests that such criticism of her daughter's photo-shoots are uncalled for. Speaking with French website jeanmarcmorandini.com, she said, [translated from French]

"These photos are from December! It's quite surprising they resurfaced after 7 months ...  Specifically, the only thing that shocks me about this photo is the necklace she wears, which is 3 million!"
Ms Loubry claims that she ensures her daughter has a typical life for a girl her age.(*cough*)

Such sexualisation of a child who hasn't even reached puberty is creepy and disgusting. I mean what are her parents thinking, I'm no child psychiatrist, but can tell such a lifestyle has harmful repercussions on the kid.

When I checked out her Facebook fan page someone had commented saying "She's too young" (which I'm sure is right in the way it was meant), But some moron commented back saying "it is beautiful, it is ART". Seriously what is wrong with you people! Everything which is disapproved is not Art.
