Scared to be alone

Afraid to be this way

You were here for me then 

But not today, not now she said

I’m here for you, my girl he said

I’ll be there everyday and every time

I’m here to take the pain

Don’t worry; we’ll be just fine

She tried to walk away

But he held her hand

Her thoughts in disarray 

Made her weak in the end

 She tried to understand

Why then no one understood her?

She needed someone to care

Needed him to be always there

 But he doesn’t have the time

 She would stare at void spaces

Cry to the pillow every night

I would have spoken a little longer

He had called to say goodnight

I am little tired

So not today, not now he said

 She felt lost and lonesome

In a world she could never own

Later he called again

To say he loved her

To say he was there

And how much he missed her

"Say you love me too honey

Say you’re mine"

"Can’t say I love you, she said

'Cause your never there

Can’t say I missed you

I’m so used to you not being here

I can’t love you anymore
